Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

I offer 55 min individual virtual therapy for women in California.

How do I get started?

Either by reaching out via email, telephone, or by clicking the book button to schedule a free consultation.

What is breakup therapy?

Breakup therapy is therapy focused on helping you process and heal from the emotional impact of a breakup, divorce, betrayal, or relationship loss. It can help you work through grief, attachment, identity, self-worth, relationship patterns, and the challenges of moving forward.

How do I know if I need therapy after a breakup?

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you’re struggling to move forward, constantly thinking about your ex, questioning yourself, experiencing intense emotions, or feeling disconnected from who you were before the relationship, therapy can provide support and perspective.

What therapy approaches do you use?

My approach incorporates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Narrative Therapy, with an attachment-informed perspective.

Do you work with women after divorce?

Yes. Divorce can involve many of the same emotional experiences as a breakup while also bringing additional grief, identity changes, and life transitions. Therapy can provide a space to process the loss and begin rebuilding.

When should I seek immediate help?

If you are thinking about harming yourself, feel unable to stay safe, or are in immediate danger, call or text 988 in the United States and Canada, contact emergency services, or go to the nearest emergency department. If your breakup involves threats, stalking, coercive control, or violence, consider contacting a domestic violence advocate for confidential safety planning.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. I offer online therapy to clients throughout California.

Do I have to live in California to receive therapy from you?

Unfortunately, yes. I am licensed in the State of California as an LCSW.
